Here is a handy list of resources to get you started on the right foot when it comes to food and farmers markets. This can be a bit of a lengthy process so if this is something you are interested it doing, its better to get started right away so that you can avoid disappointing delays.
All food vendors that fall into the high-risk category must be pre-approved for sale at our market by Fraser Health.

Sometimes commercial kitchens will rent out time slots in their kitchens, certain churches and community centres will also rent you time in their commercially licensed kitchens.
An established food business often has a regular kitchens schedule and sometimes rents out kitchen time when they are not using it. For example, a restaurant may be closed on Mondays and the owner might consider renting to you on that day of the week. A bakery may do all their baking in the mornings and maybe willing to make their kitchen available to you in the afternoons or evenings. Put the word out in your community and let your connections help you find what you are looking for.
