How We Schedule Performers
Our market runs from 10am to 3pm, with a short break each hour. This creates five performance windows. Many musicians play multiple sets throughout the day, but we also welcome performers who prefer shorter sets. When that’s the case, we group a small number of musicians together so everyone gets a chance to play. Choose the option that feels right for you.
Musicians need to be set up by 9:45am and music starts for 10am. If you need to bring your vehicle into the market to unload equipment then you need to arrive by 9:15am or you will need to walk your equipment to the tent.
Musician Honorarium
We offer an honorarium to musicians who perform at the Surrey Urban Farmers Market. Full‑day performers receive a set honorarium for the 10am–3pm market day.
If you prefer shorter sets or are newer to performing at farmers markets, we also schedule shared‑day performers. In those cases, the honorarium is shared proportionally based on the number and length of sets you play.
We’ll confirm the exact honorarium amount when we schedule you for a date.
2026 Saturday Market Dates
Market runs every Saturday from 10am to 3pm.
Only choose market dates you are available to commit to.
What SUFM Provides:
